Dry Cat Food Reviews and Information

Dry cat food is the most widely used type of cat food and is also known by the name of kibble. It can be stored for an extended period and comes in a vast array of flavors and varieties.

However, dry cat food does not tend to provide your cat with complete nutrition, meaning that your cat may need supplementary food.

Also, dry cat food often contains large quantities of plant-based or processed ingredients, which are not an ideal contributor to a cat’s diet.

Therefore if you choose to feed your cat dry food, select a high-quality dry food that does not have an overabundance of carbohydrates or plant-based ingredients.

Finally, feeding a cat a diet of solely dry cat food can cause chronic dehydration and other serious health problems.

For this reason, we do not recommend a diet consisting of just dry cat food and strongly encourage you to, at the very least, provide a mix of wet and dry food.
